Just checked back here as I've been itching to get back into Photography and its amazing to see people still liking my ancient photos. Thank you.
The main reason I stopped Photography was that I found myself taking an increasing amount of bad pix. Out of focus, shaky hands.. I just could never nail the shots I wanted anymore.
That's still true I think.. but Im going to try again because the desire to be creative just got channelled into other things- my music is going great! www.facebook.com/musicisbeautiful if anyone wants to follow me.. and my painting is picking up too.. I'm also working a full time job so there's really little time left to do anything else.
That said, Im hoping to find a really good compact that's lighter to hold and so I won't ruin shots so much with shake.. any suggestions please let me know.
Also I'm looking to sell a really old Hasselblad 500C with polaroid back and top-down viewfinder too if anyone wants to buy £500 ono. I have a whole box of probs expired film to throw in with it too and all my various accessories. PM me if you want pix etc.

wooo FINALLY the first offerings from my new cam.
Am not sure yet whether i love or hate or just have squiffy eyes but we'll see. my monitors are all wonky and totally NOT calibrated :/

hello hello! Sorry ive been absent for so long- been busy, tired and pissed off with my camera that keeps breaking.
same old same old.. I'm still unemployed but my music is going really well - it's folky, dreamy, surreal ukulele and vocals....i just released my first "live" EP you can download it here: salwa.bandcamp.com
stil no new camera so ive been hobbling about with my D70 hoping the memory card holds out. I want a D300s but until I get a job and even then, might have to go for the D5000 because it's half price but not really half-spec.
if anyone would like to comission me for anything no matter how small, please get in touch (either music or photography).

i still can't afford to replace my d70 which has started being more trouble than its worth right now hence the total lack of new, exciting pictures. Top that off with my focus being on music and my new part-time job, photography is definitely taking a rather unwilling backseat. I hate that I dont have a nice camera that works anymore but am considering purchasing a compact something, like a Pen or similar that is easier to deal with.
anyway..i guess...keep checking back from time-to-time as you never know i may take some more pix one day soon
